SOULFLY'S MARC RIZZO Helps Raise $4,000 For Autistic Kids
August 22, 2006SOULFLY guitarist Marc Rizzo's benefit for the Garden Academy for autistic children in his home state of New Jersey raised almost $4,000 towards the new school which is opening this September. The benefit show was held at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ this past Sunday, September 20.
Just because the concert is over doesn't mean the school still doesn't need your help. If you would like to donate to this very worthy cause, please visit www.gardenacademy.org.
SOULFLY is gearing up to destroy the ears of North American metal fans beginning in the middle of September. FULL BLOWN CHAOS and INCITE will open the entire tour. SOULFLY are continuing to tour in support of their latest album, "Dark Ages", available now on Roadrunner Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Prophecy" was produced by mainman Max Cavalera and was mixed by Terry Date, who has previously worked with PANTERA and DEFTONES, among others.
